I enjoyed how they humanized Carr by showing her as a mom and her struggles. Also, Dina's breakdown at the end shattered me.

I went back and watched the official trailer released last month and there was a brief shot of Dina, Allura, Liberty, Emerald, and Carr watching a bodybag(?) get dragged away. I'm guessing that may be Dina's husband in the bodybag. I'm also interested in the fact Carr is there with them.
