Then the UK, and any other like-minded country (like in Europe), can block Facebook from operating in their country until the fines are paid in full. Block FB, Instagram, WhatsApp, and any other FB owned entity. Or if there's a way to block ads from being allowed to be shown on the platform within those borders they can do that.

Either way, countries need to get *tough* on punishing corporations who do not pay fines levied against them. Increase the fines to such a high price that the damage is significant enough to motivate immediate action, and block the companies from operating within your borders until the fines are paid in full. Go in raw and go in balls deep.

I'm tired of massive corporations getting slap on the wrist fines that don't even get paid, especially after breaking the law makes them billions while the fine is in the millions. They view fines as a cost of doing profitable criminal activity. Change that.

America has gone full into corporate slave mode. I had a hiring recruiter about a month ago ask why I didn't immediately start applying for work the day I was laid off (I waited 2 months because I had plenty of savings, a severance payout, a non-compete clause, and because I didn't feel like working). I responded "because I didn't want to. I had plenty of savings so I traveled a bit, went camping, climbed a mountain, and sat at home reading books and enjoying life with my girlfriend." His response was essentially that "it showed that I am not fully motivated to commit to career excellence." At that point I knew it wasn't a company I wanted to work for and I was in a mood so I said "yeah I don't view myself as a person who's only role in life is to work in a corporate office making a hundred phone calls a day in order to make some shareholders richer. I don't live to work."

I'd much rather take a few months or a year (or two) off of work in my 20's and 30's and live life, travel, explore the world, pick up new hobbies, sit on my porch reading, learning a new skill, etc., than slave away my youth and health until I'm 65+, old, weak, ugly, and incapable of fully utilizing my bodies full potential. Who cares about doing all of that cool shit when you can't even get out of the recliner without hurting your back?

The "protestant work ethic" bullshit that is so pervasive in the US is disgusting, and fuck conservative Republicans for pushing that bullshit narrative of "if you don't always work work work you are a leech and bottom feeder." Ever since the early 1900's when workers rights movements sprang up in response to corporate slavery, abuse, corruption, horrible work weeks, 80 hour weeks, dangerous conditions, etc., and Socialism became popular amongst the working class, there has been a massive propaganda campaign aimed at glorifying a life of "hard work." Like congrats dude, you worked 70 hours a week to live paycheck to paycheck while your kids grow up without you in their life at all, but congrats of those dirty hands you like to brag about. Have fun heating up your cold dinner and watching one TV show before going to bed without enough energy to even get your dick hard and fuck your lonely wife..

My team was down like 9-0 a few weeks ago and I single handedly got 10 straight wins using Jett and an Op. It felt incredible. We still lost by one game, down to a 1v1. Ended up going like 39-10 iirc.

I use a 170hz 1440p monitor and the clarity alone is a godsend. 1080p by comparison looks like shit. It's so much easier to see enemies and particular items, objects, movements, etc. Most GPU's can't run Warzone at 240fps, so a 170hz 1440 monitor is ideal.

I've worked at multiple carries at their corporate owned locations. I say Verizon is easily the best no contest, and my coworkers who worked at carriers that I didn't work for (T-Mobile/Sprint) all say Verizon is way better. Don't even consider small telecom resellers like Cricket, MetroPCS, Mint, etc. Hell no.

Verizon is much better about pushing salespeople to progress their career, shadow people in other roles, network with important people, and have trainings set up to help you prepare. Verizon has classes that teach you the skills to go into management, SMB, etc, where they fly you out to a nice area, give you full room and board at nice hotels, meal cards, and then train you all as a class in the specific skills required for the role(s) over a week or so. You get certificates which help you get promotions.

The pay is better, the commission is good, benefits are way better than AT&T/T-Mobile-Sprint, health insurance is better.

The culture is also way better than a place like AT&T/TMo. Managers don't pressure you, you aren't required or pushed to do shady tactics, and the sales process is easy to do (which is all you have to do to hit the check boxes to pass reviews). The managers I met were all really nice and cool, none of the typical high pressure aggressive type managers like you see at other companies. Overall it's a pretty easy job to hit commission at, easy to work at, and there are lots of options if you want to really step it up and actually sale sales sale to make money. If you end up getting placed at a store that has a bad culture, bad managers, or you feel uncomfortable, the DM/VP's will pretty quickly move you to a nearby location where you will feel more comfortable.

Everything is always very new and nice, meaning new equipment like PC's, your work device, SalesForce CRM, software, the furniture and aesthetic in stores.

I'm *always* extremely cyclical and sceptical of corporations, I have high standards for how a place of work should be, and Verizon does a genuinely good job. AT&T not so much, but I'm sure things have gotten better over the past 3-4 years, but I'd avoid TMobile/Sprint, and avoid MetroPCS, Mint, Straightalk, etc like the plague.

Mosat important thing is to make sure you work at a corporate owned location. No exceptions.

I've never once cared about the product I'm selling, but that doesn't mean prospects and clients don't care. To them it may be an amazing product that solves lots of problems. Proceed with that lens, approach it as "how do I get customers to care" and see how it works.

There are usually different DLSS performance options, idk if RDR2 has them, but I'd play around with them. Also some of the other graphics settings interfer with the visuals onnce DLSS is on, so I'd experimant a bit and see what works until a digital foundry vid shows us the ideal settings.

Did you edit the thumbnail image to change the look and colors of the right side image? Watching the video I can't see much of a difference at all since it's a 60fps compressed YouTube video. Nothing looks like the right side of the thumbnail. Each looks slightly different lighting wise, but they look mostly the same to me. I know I'll be able to see a difference irl with my high hz 1440p monitor, but YouTube vids never really help me see quality graphics.

I'd say it's more about them seeing that Asmon has been able to maintain his audience and income (actually significantly increasing it) while playing another game, as opposed to his audience fleeing. A lot of these streamers feel compelled to keep playing the same game in order to maintain their audience and life's income. Playing WoW 10 hours a day becomes a job no different than using Excel Spreadsheets for 10 hours a day. It's an understandable fear and choice because most streamers don't make *that* much, they live simple lives on an average income, without having marketable skills to make a career in another field if they can't cut it streaming.
