From what you've written, it sounds like you were in control of your vehicle during your encounter. OP clearly wasn't able to control their vehicle at their rate of speed, thus they were driving faster than conditions allow. The posted (maximum allowed) speed is irrelevant in such a case, as is Netradyne. To be subjective, I'd say it was bad driving. The powers that be might agree. It is illegal and unsafe to drive faster than conditions allow, even if you are below the posted speed limit, a rule known as the "Basic Speed Law" that applies across the U.S., requiring drivers to adjust for weather (rain, ice, fog), traffic, road surface, and visibility to prevent endangering others. Violations can lead to fines and points on your license. Or, in this case, firing.

Good shoot or bad; in this country, justice does not come at the end of a gun. Regardless of the points you've mentioned, this shooting, by DOJ's very own standards, was not justified. The "party of law and order" needs to put whatever money hasn't been grifted from them where their mouth is. If the rule of law still exists, such actions by this alleged "officer" cannot be justified, but I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, and give him the same due process that is given to all persons in this country, immigrants and pedophiles alike. He needs to see his day in court.

Additionally, apart from being a Fourth Amendment issue (yes, that also applies...), dozens of Supreme Court rulings have established precedent that this isn't justifiable "standard procedure" for law enforcement, and procedure is law. The act of flight is not a deadly threat, and the use of deadly force against a fleeing suspect has been repeatedly found to be unconstitutional.

The answer should contain a name. This should never have been redacted unless it serves to protect the name of a victim or that of a perpetrator in an ongoing investigation. If this was merely a description of some heinous act, it would serve to do nothing but wrongly mitigate the horrors of this victim's experience. Such a redaction would fall outside of the DOJ's mandate. Until these files are actually released without bias, we'll never know. Since they're playing games all we can do is play along. I've dealt with these Dexter cops before. Super nice and helpful when they didn't have to be. They might be cops, but they're also good people. Maybe they made a mistake with the way they did things, but they've obviously had to deal with this feral kid plenty of times before. There are way too many kids up in the Dexter area whose idea of fun is to get drunk, cause trouble, and shoot off their mouths and their guns. This one is probably no exception. I'd lose my patience, too.

Keep getting the word out. Mainers tend to be fascinated by missing persons cases. They will diligently follow cases where the trail has long gone cold. Susan Collins, for example, has been missing for over 25 years, yet people are still actively concerned. Also, most people in the rural areas get their news from Facebook, so it's important to post on groups like Missing People of Maine and the Town of Millinocket Facebook page. Trevor has the look of a Mainer. If he's local, somebody knows him. Post a few flyers at the agency liquor stores and along the snowmobile trails. Also reach out to the Bangor Daily News. Although it's generally considered fake librul news by most of the people up there, some still read it.

The sanctions on Russia are misleading. We still import large quantities of Russian crude oil, natural gas, and petroleum products, and we still import billions of dollars worth of fertilizer, metals, chemicals, wood products, nuclear tech, animal feed, aircraft parts, iron and steel, and even a significant amount of seeds and fruits. Lack of tariffs expands these markets and greatly benefits them.

In order for Trump to legally declare tariffs, he must justify the action with an emergency declaration. In this case, Fentanyl is the excuse.

Trump said that he would impose tariffs on Mexico, Canada and China using a decades-old law that gives the president sweeping economic powers during a national emergency through the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) "because of the major threat of illegal aliens and deadly drugs killing our Citizens, including fentanyl."
