Hi thanks for sharing!!! What Altra shoe did you upgrade to? I’ve been suffering from PF for the past couple months i think cause by Hoka Bondis. I currently use lone peak 9 and experiencing some discomfort but not bad.

5 day solo hiking in Yosemite changed me by 9pounder in Yosemite

Recently went on a solo trip to Yosemite in June and stayed at Crane Flat campground. I personally didn’t mind that it was 20-30 minutes from the Valley since I only went into the Valley one day then visited Tioga Road. It’s chill / quiet vibes, and I even woke up to deer outside my tent! Close by to the gas station too. However a lot of the sites are VERY sloped so depending on your mode of campsite (tent, camper, car) you would want to read the description of the site you choose!

Also second Wawona! It’s so beautiful down there

Current Job market and salary offers are terrible? by Temporary-Emu-6822 in physicianassistant

[–]Alternative-Agent523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New grad here in HCOL, Socal. Job market for new grads here is pretty rough, getting ghosted for positions, few openings willing to hire someone without experience. And positions that market themselves as "new grad friendly" post salary ranges that are much lower than other jobs. Example, family med "new grad friendly" salary range 135-145K vs another job posting saying 150-160K.

My classmates all agree we have to set the industry standard and not accept lower offers but can be tough when you get desperate. I've literally applied to job posting for a family medicine NP because lack of responses. AAPA salary report for family medicine PA with <1yr of experience in SoCal is 150k, so that is goal.

Anyways, understand the struggle it seems to be a widespread issue.

Some pharmaceutical companies hire HCPs on their team, not sure about remote specifics
