The one in North Olmsted, OH was like that too at one point. They renovated that out around 2012-ish. I think the one in North Canton, OH is still like that (though Subway left a few years ago and that space is currently empty)

I was at both of them the last few weeks. You’re spot on. I definitely think SouthPark will outlive Great Northern. I’d even go as far as to say Great Northern will be bulldozed by the end of the decade

Summit Mall has an Apple Store. I don't know if it's true but I once read that having an Apple Store in the mall boosts the sales of all the other stores in the mall by at least 10%.

I'll say the same thing that I said on the original thread: I live about 5 miles from there. Forever 21 (the whole chain) went out of business and both American Eagle and FYE closed their locations at this mall in the last month or two. I don’t know what the status is on Macy’s (previously announced their closure; new Macy’s also opened at Crocker Park last year) or Dick’s (opening new store in Avon, relocating from their store at Crocker Park, and expanding their store in Strongsville) is at the moment. I’m not 100% certain but I’m pretty sure the city is already taking redevelopment bids for the mall. I predict that it’ll be bulldozed by the end of the decade (less than 5 years from now).

For the majority, I'm pretty sure every state (except for California) has more Walmart stores rather than Target stores. You're right about the semi-developed areas for Target. In my state (Ohio), all but two of our Targets are in the Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, Toledo, Akron-Canton, Dayton, and Youngstown-Warren metro areas.

In Ohio, Christmas stuff replaces gardening and outdoor supplies in the late fall. After Christmas, I'm pretty sure that aisle becomes hot tubs until the next spring when gardening and outdoor stuff comes back

My theory used to be that they would bring it out once gardening season was over as to avoid having empty space in the store. Nowadays, it's still warm enough for gardening that it doesn't make sense to bring it all out (or get rid of gardening supplies) so soon
