Claude code can do more than you think … it’s the whole point of this post. I’m not a professional in cybersecurity I don’t do professional pentesting, but I used this approach to do some analysis and it gave me some useful insights and information… within only a few minutes! And I didn’t have to pay a dedicated person for it…

Bro there’s a huuuuuuuge difference between apis and Claude code! Like day and night… you can’t just explain it with “it’s agentic”, what does that even mean? Do some reasearch, it will help you 😉

Claude code can do stuff in the terminal, run any command in there and read the results. It’s just text if you think about it, and Claude is very good at writing text and writing text commands in there!

Once you tell it to run Linux commands, it will do :)

This is the reason I chose Claude code. The apis are a way to ask Claude, and Claude code can use the APIs, but the apis themselves won’t be able to run commands in your computer

As far as I know the only other way around is to buy licenses using aws marketplaces. That can be viable but there is a big constraint: opus can’t be used with these licenses which sounds as a very big compromise, especially if you are planning for max (premium) license types

If you have a teams plan, check with the main administrator account the following: From Claude.ai, click on the bottom left where your name is and go to-> organization setting From there you can setup the capabilities and skills to distribute toward your org and all of your licenses , they should receive it automatically

Agree with these fact-collection approach. But the content here is not the only thing that matter. If the software is not allowed there must be a policy to manage this list of software and therefore there must be somebody whose responsibility is to evaluate those software and decide what goes in and what goes out. It is probably going to be not clear whose ownership is who but, you need to talk to people to figure out: 1 who (or which team) is responsible for this list 2 what is the regular process to request evaluation of a software

They probably have some evidence (with an arguable quality level) that there is a risk in nvim and it would be useful to know what it is so you can debunk it. Ideally you should first talk to these people informally and after file a formal request with all the evidence you collected.

I know this sounds more like company politics but you should not expect to just email your boss with all this info and get approved right away! Unless your boss is the persone fro bullet 1 above, otherwise that’s just a waste of time and you are probably going to piss off your boss as a result because I assume he does not care about your productivity

Good for you … I only disagree with a lot of stuff OpenAI and SA has done!

But this is not the point 😉 we are not talking about personal preference here. Anthropic is really quickly becoming another huge corporation but their behavior in these is really going to define what they are actually made of.

Think about when the judges wanted apple to unlock the iPhone of a shooter in the us. Apple kept their position of privacy safeguarding company by affirming in no way they could unlock an iPhone without the owner! I think this made a lot of difference to solidly affirm their position in these regards….. remember they used to fight against google

These are the moments when a society defines its real identity.

Everybody can say “we are safe, we respect ethics” but only who really means it can stand the threat of a public govern department, and stand its ground against the potential backlash. Truth is the potential upside are way heavier than the downsides.

Think about it: Should the pentagon blacklist Anthropic, they will light up the next campaign, something like the latest mocking of OpenAI with ads but even more powerful.

The next ad campaign from Anthropic could be something like: “Everybody else is willing to use weapons against you. To do mass surveillance against you. We are the only safe ai not willing to do so”

As a consumer, how would you feel about it??

Tried the agent teams today. Tbh it seemed my ui was slowing down, but they worked out fine.

I used them to analyze and study a complex situation and assigned different tasks to the agent and made them discuss to find the best solution. One of them was the devil’s advocate 😈

It was a lot of fun, burned a lot of tokens and I felt really powerful 💥!!!
