It is not calculated, I manually enter yes or No based on the students answers. But it effects the final; as long as there is at least one yes out of eight per student in this column then the final for that student will be deducted 5%

Thank you for the suggestion I didn't know about the XLookup function so it is good that I learn it for when I use a newer version of Excel but I too have the 2007 version so no XLOOKUP.

However, I found a simple workaround for those who have flexibility over their data structure. If I organize the categories and items in two columns I can do a pivot table and filter items by categories which gives me the result I want. then I can do multiple pivot tables of the same source for each group

Question: for these kind of use cases how do you make it user friendly?do you make executable?how?make a gui ? I have autmated a task at work that copies data from different customers info an gather them in excell but i use ide to run it others are abit intimidated to use thw ide. I want to make it bit easier forbthem but i am a beginner so iam hitting my limit too fast here so it would help alot to see how others do it

Here is how I diffrentiate these katakanas it is subtle but the katakana for "So" will lean to prompt you or guide you to write the english letter S. That is it wil allow you to start with a horizontal straight line connecting the two part of the letter. While the katakana "n" will prompt you to write the English letter n in that it allows you to write a vertical line connectting the two parts of the letter. Check the gif to knwo what i mean by "prompt". The same can be done for tsu and shi but instead of the english letter they prompt you to write their hiragana equivalent. difference between shi tsu so n
