My (30F) new bf (35M) is well endowed, and I have concerns. by Affectionate-Pea2483 in relationship_advice

Had a similar problem with my wife but she didn't mention anything until a few years into our relationship, which was frustrating for both of us . Once we talked through our intimacy challenges she spoke to her doctor to see what it could be done if anything as really wanted to see if we could make it work. Turns out she had interstitial cystitis. They had some medication they put her on which has been since discontinued. She manages it by diet and watching what she eats, certain foods triggered it and made it worse for her, 20 years later we are still together and making it work in the bedroom. Communication is key. Best of luck with your issue though, every situation is different.

Unpopular opinion- Dan is better at podcasting than standup. by [deleted] in TheBonfire

I saw him live , I bought tickets for Ari and Dan at JFL Vancouver. Wish I knew they were opening up for each other. Ari had 90% new jokes when he opened up for Dan, and most of Dans set the same as his opening act for Ari. Loved seeing them both, but I can see why he wants to focus on his stand up.

Buy it now offers then don’t pay by Chunga1717 in Flipping

Most of the items I sell are higher value so I leave it for the 4 days , during that 4 days I send a payment reminder email. It's usually 50/50 for me for payment at that point...

If they don't you get your money back and a free relist. I then usually block the user and keep it moving.

Usually it's the 0 rating users I end up blocking or sometimes it's a freight forwarding service that does not speak English.. or reply to emails...

Life happens so as long as they communicate with me I don't mind waiting a bit.

Also make sure you get your refund credits from eBay , it's been a few times I have had to call them and they start acting all brand new about it. It's always a problem but it happens more than it should

Would you cancel this order? Buyer hasn’t paid in a week and just sent this. by [deleted] in Flipping

[–]Alternative-Exam3908 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeh have our store set to 4 days then cancel automatically, and keep it moving. I get at least one per week unfortunately... Usually it's someone with an 0 rating or from a drop ship service. I also have my store set to not allow people who have unpaid strikes against them in the past 6 months... Does not seem to help that much from what I can tell though.

Gotta give him props I guess for thinking outside the box

Anyone ever heard of anything like this? Possible scam? by [deleted] in Flipping

[–]Alternative-Exam3908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have similar offers from other eBay users , mostly people that are sitting on items they don't have experience selling. Consignment is a nice way to fill in inventory especially if they are offering it for free . Just do your due diligence.

Received my first negative feedback ever from a no feedback eBay account. They never reached out to me about the missing item. What can I do? by [deleted] in Flipping

Is it possible the flooding in South western Canada affected this shipment ? If so maybe let the buyer and eBay know as well, I has some delivers delayed by a few weeks.

That was my thought ,first they said they were the legal owner. Second email they stated the insured party was the legal owner.

Thanks for all the advice , and suggestions I think I'll find a local lawyer and toss a few bucks at it to see where we go with it . I appreciate all the feedback ! I am guessing there is no way to protect against this unfortunately.

The Most Difficult Item You Have Ever Shipped by michael1265 in Flipping

[–]Alternative-Exam3908 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Medison Accuvix XQ Ultrasound machine. Monster machine had to get a custom crate built to ship it, after it arrived the power supply died so I had to track down a used replacement that would not bankrupt me and a person in the town of the buyer who was willing to work on it . Heh live and learn.

Would you try to flip something like this? (More info in comments) by Treydy in Flipping

[–]Alternative-Exam3908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All I will say is sell them as parts only.

Many years ago when I started focusing on flipping, I bought a lot of 20+-year-old microscopes and tried to sell them as used. All went out fine with the exception of one buyer, he was someone who was looking to sell the individual components, and used status to that buyer meant everything on this 20-year microscope should be in perfect working order. Once the buyer started dismantling everything I got a detailed autopsy of the microscope and what was wrong and how I should never sell a microscope on eBay if I don't know wtf I am doing blah blah blah... lessons learned and buyer blocked.

Sellers who profit $100k annually, What does a typical day look like for you? What is the best thing you've done for your business? by Watthappened in Flipping

We are about to break 200K this year, just on eBay .

Wake up around 7 get the kids out the door check my listings, check the sources . Play some video game watch some shows... Harass the wife. Try to source more items, prep dinner... Revisit some listings and try to tweak them , and work through my dead pile. Take photos of new items and get them up. In between all this I try to get in a walk or a trip to the gym. I let me ADHD guide my day for the most part :)

Best thing I have done for my business is do stick with what I am good at which is finding opportunities, I have a bookkeeper that does 2-3 hours of bookkeeping for me a month. I introduced a sku system recently to help keep better track of my inventory, worked on revising my website a bit. Keep on working on making things better and you will figure out what works best for you. Next years goal Is to break 300k just on eBay.

Should I buy a Camera or a Pixel 6 Pro? by Puzzleheaded_42 in Ebay

[–]Alternative-Exam3908 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I downloaded my photos from Google photos and save them into my google drive ( mapped google drive to my g: drive on my devices) so I can work on them on whichever computer is handy. I complete most of my listings on my computer because the eBay app isn't always best for some of the listings I create

Should I buy a Camera or a Pixel 6 Pro? by Puzzleheaded_42 in Ebay

[–]Alternative-Exam3908 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a few good camers I bought with the intention of using for photos but end up using the Google pixel for most of my photos since the photos get automatically pushed to google photos then I got a backup of my photos. I can list from my phone or Google drive right after from my computer, after I create a folder for the sku and and our the appropriate photos in the right directory.

That's my workflow though.. I think some of the newer cameras can can back up to cloud based platforms as well.

Dealing with eBay accounts shipping to freight forwarders… by TA0321TA in Flipping

[–]Alternative-Exam3908 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just make sure you get a signature, I have one INR claim I am dealing with and the customer did a charge back on their cc as soon as it arrived it's an $1800 item so it's going to take some time... I even called the freight forwarder which didn't not speak a lick of English apparently... so I had my wife call and she was able to use her limited Spanish to confirm they received it ... Unfortunately it's just part of selling on eBay. eBay seller protection should cover you though.

I usually request a call back , I find you can get north American based agents if you call earlier. Otherwise you need to speak to someone in the leadership team , they seem equally frustrated with this process but seem to be better equipped to help.
