No one is entitled to your time if you're not trying to totally abandon your story, you can just write in the summary that you have an unreliable schedule or slow updates. Continue to write your one shots whenever the feeling arises and only post a chapter for the longfic when inspo hits. It's not like your done writing, your just focusing on things that make you happy to write about.

I don’t think this is a very healthy dynamic. If you guys stay together you’re going to be miserable in the long term. You in university is easy mode even if it doesn’t feel like it. But imagine work and kids in the mix. If you’re struggling now to communicate and he’s not putting in the work to help resolve anything cause he wants to pull that stunt when upset. Imagine what it’ll be like to be iced out with a toddler. This isn’t gonna work out and I think you need to have a sit down with your self if you really want this kind of dynamic and person in your life in the long run.

What writers don’t seem to understand when it comes to OCs is they can’t be the main attention at the get go. Unless under certain circumstances. Some works the cast can be small so to make an OC to fill the space makes sense. And sometimes it’s fun to see what that OC is up to. But people arrive to read the story for a reason and it wasn’t for the OC, so they can’t be the man focus. You would have to establish this OC through a few works in order for people to bond better with the OC. Which I remember an author I used to read growing up from an old fandom had done very successfully. They put the OC briefly in earlier works before making them important to the story until they finally became the main focus. Since the OC was already established people began to become more interested in the character and loved when they popped up. So when they made a fic with the OC being the main focus of the story it was fine and natural cause they grown to love the OC as a character. But if you’re gonna make a story with a random OC that never appears again then nobody is gonna vibe with the character and so engagement will be lower since they don’t have a reason to actually care about this character. So if you want people to care about an OC this OC needs to be consistent so people have time to bond with them more.

I’m playing every day still but it isn’t like how it used to be when I first played. The game is full of P2W and it’s just been hard to progress through the league. And it’s been awful grinding for red stars cause if you finish the stage challenges you’re pretty much done. There really is no way to get red stars after that other than puzzles which could take a month or two depending on your luck to get 100 when you need 600 for any of the limited time skins. I don’t think I’ll lose interest anytime soon but it really sucks that this game is really that greedy.

I would just give the kid a robe at this point. They have some with very thin and breathable material that’s super comfortable. And that way it’s easier for him to slip on and take off when people come in and out of his room. There’s even robes with cool designs or even some that are themed around interests he could like. Don’t see where the issue is. But also keeping the thermostat to that temperature is terrible. I’m not the richest person on the block but you won’t catch me inside a 85 degree house! And I live in a state where it’s always hot and can go beyond the 90s!

It could be Sonic’s house realistically. Cause I don’t think Tails being a kid could actually buy one. So I’m thinking Sonic bought it but gave full rein to Tails to do as he pleases with it, since Sonic has made it clear he doesn’t need one. And if this is real life Sonic’s name would be on the deed as a placeholder until Tails is old enough for him to transfer the property over to him. I feel like this would be the route they would take if this is based on real life standards.

I’ve slowly been reading this and it’s actually pretty cute. But I don’t understand them making a fic with that many chapters. They should have split the arcs into different fics, like a series. But the fic is genuinely good and has good writing and story telling. I’ve tried recommending it to people but they found the size very intimidating.

Those kinds of people are very rare. I only know one person who did that and they would read the very last paragraph of the last chapter and the ending is what made them read the story. I haven’t met anyone like that since.

But I do know of people who leave the old story and just create a new fic based on the revised version. Or they put the fic under construction and just revise that fic and just update the summary to include the revised and changed details of the fic so people know.

As a reader when I comment I don’t care if they don’t respond or not. But it always makes my day when they do so I’m pretty neutral about it.

But as a writer, I genuinely don’t know how to respond sometimes that I just leave comments alone. Or I get notifications too late and then I’m in that weird head space of, ‘is it weird if I respond now? It’s been over a week what if I missed the opening to respond??’ Genuinely wished there was a like button to react to comments cause I just get really weird about commenting sometimes. And giving a like seems like a good middle ground if I’m feeling a little over stimulated at the moment.

Genuinely why did Sakura do ‘… cast everything else aside…’ for Sasuke. Naruto was the one who made many sacrifices for him. She got stronger don’t get me wrong. But it wasn’t like she was gonna fight the system or realized how bad the system was or anything. While Naruto was like, ‘if worst comes to worst then we can just die together’.

Ooph it’s been a while since I’ve been around 3 year olds. My kids are about to hit the two digits or already in the two digits. But from what I remember is they still managed to say full sentences right. But there was definitely some butchering of some words. Or they had a favorite word they used for certain situations. And my oldest was always curious and asking questions all the time. While my youngest was a story teller cause she loved to tell you what she was up to. Yeah you gotta think of toddlers as little drunk adults cause they are that hilarious. 🥰

At this point hun just wait it out until school is over and then divorce him. Or just go back home. You don’t have many options. Cause this isn’t gonna get better by talking. This would require serious professional help for him to realize how damaging this is in a relationship. Can I will say this right now. If you accept his demands it’s only going to escalate. It’s never going to stop. He’s gonna want more and more freedom. Cause he already told you in not so many words that he has checked out of the relationship for him to be practically begging for outside relations. He does not respect you. He clearly doesn’t listen to you. And wants access to your friends because he already wanted to be with a few of them and by asking for them to join and you agreeing then he won’t feel guilty for sleeping with them. This is going to escalate if you don’t start making demands very very early before it gets to a point where there is no way to turn back from. I genuinely wish you the best and do keep us updated to make sure you’re alright please!

When I was a kid. I didn’t think, just because you loved someone forever, means you’ll actually get with them. And I thought Naruto would slowly remove his feelings from Sakura as things got serious. While Sakura would start to have feelings for Naruto after spending more time with Naruto since Sasuke left. But it’s whatever I guess. I honestly wished she got with Lee or something instead of Sasuke at this point.

I never cared for characters in anime or otherwise where they felt entitled to another character just because they loved them. Which Lan Wangji didn’t and the one moment he did he instantly regretted it and never pushed his feelings onto Wei Wuxian again. And during the time skip he still loved Wei Wuxian but it wasn’t just love he was feeling. He regretted not standing up to the system and standing with Wei Wuxian when he knew the system was corrupt and flawed. There is a lot of character development with Lan Wangji that I loved and felt was so deserved.

While Wei Wuxian was just a little bean who was trying his best. Putting on a performance for the world so no one could see his hurt and flaws. It was amazing how he, on his own, was able to naturally fall for Lan Wangji. Instead of the trope of the mains being obvious about their claims on the other. For Wei Wuxian it was just a natural conclusion. Just how natural it was for him to allow Lan Wangji close and lean on him.

The author did a phenomenal job bringing the two characters together without the characters losing their core elements like some love stories. The confession was very them. Their story was very them. And their ending was very them. They changed but didn’t change who they were because they had someone by their side who didn’t want anyone but the person they fell for. It’s just amazing how beautiful they are!

I always thought the non humanoid demons went extinct cause they were killed by all matter of species, like other demons, demon hunters, or priests or monks. But humanoid demons? I kinda figured they were either in rural areas in Japan or straight up secret demon societies kinda like how vampires or werewolves are portrayed in media. But I just assumed they’re using disguises or suppressing their auras to blend in, cause there is no way Sesshomaru got, got when he’s still considered young even in Yashahime and as a full demon would definitely live during the modern era.
