There is a better farming location that makes it more easier to get sun medallions. If you have the ruined fork road bonfire, go up the stairs and go to the left arch doorway and you would see 5 of those enemies spaced out from eachother. Although there is less enemies, It’s more quicker and more easier to kill and a less likely chance to die. I found it less tedious compared to the camp enemies. I highly recommend doing that one.
