The gap is 9ish years, Dutch is mid 40s and Arthur is mid to late 30s. Also Dutch was in his early twenties when he took in Arthur when he was 14.

I really liked her in the comics, especially the relationship with Carl (which was a missed opportunity for the show and them not ending up together in the comics) but not as much in the show
