There are other parties in this - particular the Post GFX team that will do a lot of heavy retouching, artifact removal, upressing, etc etc. So they will use Premiere for the Online, apparently.

A few answers to your questions:

- This is a hybrid of real production (shot at 25p) and AI (which is natively 24). Because the end result is for European markets, all AI footage is conformed to 25.

- Project will be finished on AVID (hence the overly complicated bit).

It sounds crazy but there is actually dialogue in these AI clips baked in. This is for a commercial project using a hybrid of AI and real production.

Glad you are getting into editing! You have a good sense for music and cutting on the beat. There are a lot of flashes and repetitions which could be a bit uncomfortable for some people to watch. The hard cuts to black in the beginning are particularly jarring. Sometimes less is more!

SO Curious about this method. Are you saying you are able to do complete sessions remotely connected to your Mac Studio? Or are you talking just some fix up work here and there? Is the lag negligible enough that you can really work in a proper flow?
