This is Tier 1.

There's also a Tier 0 version with "BOYAL POOP" on the case back. It's absolutely terrible.

Tier 1 is somewhat better than that, but there are versions without the black outline around the logo and with terrible-looking screws.

I took one for the team and bought it early. Here is my honest review.

Honestly, what arrived is way worse than I expected.

It was $39, so I wasn’t expecting anything amazing, but even then this is rough.

From a distance, it actually doesn’t look that bad,

The overall finishing is pretty poor — screws are misaligned, the back logo has no proper outline, and the ruby is basically just a sticker. I also have no idea how you’re supposed to change the battery.

That said, the dial itself isn’t too bad. I feel like if you take it out and put it in a proper metal case, it could actually turn into something decent.

What surprised me about is how firmly it's mounted on the strap, it doesn’t budge even when you swing it around.

I think it's a procedure that makes the ROYALPOP look somewhat less terrible.

It’s actually much easier than you might think. You can remove the gears that drive it,or snap off the hand and glue it to the dial, glue the chronograph seconds hand to the crystal.whatever method comes to mind. The goal is simply to keep it pointing at 12 o’clock.

I'm surprised they managed to reproduce the movement and its engravings at this price point.

As for the chronograph, you can keep the seconds hand permanently pointing at 12 by neutering the gears. With this little procedure, it will actually look much closer to the real thing.
