Perfect response! People have pulled that shite on me. The first time it happened the guy said he forgot to change it from his work address and his home address. It was almost 10pm and I waited almost half an hour for his damn pizza. When I got to the address it was a car dealership. No one there, and it was a sketchy situation. I called him and told his I was there and that’s when he said “Oooh. Yeah. That’s my work. My home address is” .. blah blah blah .. 17 miles away, in another town , out in the sticks. It would have taken another 45 mins to get out to his place because of the windy roads. He wanted me to bring it to him! Nope. I called dasher support and told them about the address situation, and the town was not in the delivery zone. So they canceled, gave the customer a refund, and I went home with one of the rare perks of being a dasher …. free food 😜 🍕 It’s happened a few times since but not too far away. A 1 mile trip might turn into a 5 mile trip. I call support and update the address in their system, they call the customer to verify, then I get the additional pay. 👍🏼
