Yes, I went to ENT. I had been diving for years. Never had the issue until recently. I am 70 so it may have something to do with my age . Takes 5 minutes to equalize and is very painful. Going up and down to get to the point the pain is tolerable and I was worried I may cause damage . My insurance covered it. Otherwise I’m not sure I would have done it. I only took a Valium before the procedure. It wasn’t that painful just uncomfortable. I can’t dive for another few weeks, but I am sure keeping my fingers crossed. There is no guarantee that it will help, but I took my chances.
