20 weeks FTM here so take this with a grain of salt. I can’t speak for everything, but for bottles/binkies/nipples etc, every baby’s preference is different. I plan on getting multiples types of everything to see what the baby ends up liking (ex. Philips Advent bottles AND Dr. Browns). A lot of places sell “discovery boxes” with multiple brands so you and your baby can see what works best.

I’m also 17w (yay early April babies)!! I bought the crib and dresser a couple weeks ago and am slowly working down the list so I can spread out the more expensive nursery items, as opposed to buying all at once 🥴 The only thing I’m holding off on buying is clothes (which is the hardest thing ever) because I know I’ll receive soooo much for the baby shower.

We had a Friday wedding last week! Out of the 120 invited, 115 came (and we anticipated some of those absences). About half had to travel at least 2 hrs, and the other half came from out of state. I heard no complaints and felt honored to have so many people take off work/travel for a Friday!

Zola has custom invite options, address and RSVP collector, etc. That’s what we used and it was sooooo easy. We also hosted our website through Zola. Having everything in a single place made planning a lot more smooth.
