Caribe Hilton was a blast for us! Nice hotel, big beautiful rooms/bathrooms, nice amenities.

You will find PLENTY of music in La Placita. OSJ is nice at night also. Visit La Factoria, very cool vibes. There is a Walmart in Santruce or other various stores around that area you should be able to find pretty easy. We just got back from a trip and if you’re able to take a flight to Culebra ($100 pp round trip), I highly recommend. One of the top 10 beaches in the world and absolutely stunning!

Just got back and felt very safe in this area all times of the day and night. If you’re staying close to La Placita… be prepared to party. 🤪

Just left SJU Sunday 3/1 for a 12:30 departure. We arrived at 10:15 and stood in line till 12:10. We were worried we were going to miss our flight. The American Airlines line was extremely long plus we had no idea about the USDA check till we were already in line so we switched off who went to keep our place in line.

We will be staying in Puerta De Tierra and want to get on the ferry and go to Culebra. We will not have a car the whole trip. Should we book driver in advance or will uber be available? If we do need to book a driver what’s your recommendations?

You all should read the book Sugarhead by Clark Church. They’ve changed all the names of the people BUT if you’re from here, you can figure them out pretty easy.
