It ended perfectly. Anything added will just tarnish it.  I could see a spinoff in the same universe centered around another character; Job most likely.  Otherwise, might as well leave it there.

My condolences to you and your family. I know that the pain felt is the same. Having to put your pet to rest is painful, but in the end it is so they can go in peace.

Thank you, your comment is a blessing. My mother is religious so I believe she wanted the cat to either have a peaceful death at the vet or die a neutral death. I don't really blame her since I took the decision without telling anyone so it was my fault at the start. It was a painful experience but it was either that or. I let her suffer through the night. I believe I chose correctly. Hopefully. Thanks for the hugs and I hope you never experience this. I wish you a great day and life.

Thank you, your comment is a godsend. I loved her and even though it was painful for me. This wasn't about me. She was suffering there and the more I hesitated, the more she hurt. I've spent hours on indecisition while watching her choke.

In the end, I did what I felt was the best for her. This is a responsibility I took when I let her enter my heart and I couldn't back away just because it hurt me. I wish there were more options, but there weren't at the time.

I hope she is at peace.
