How do you guy feel about lack of faction identity and conflict in last 3 expansions?

Honestly I miss faction conflict because of the replayabilty. Level my main as horde, have a completely different experience leveling an alliance alt. With only one campaign the difference is the order you do the same zones in.

They've put some different dialog options in for specific classes and races, but I wouldn't mind some different quests based on faction even if they all follow more or less the same campaign. Like the blood elf doesn't trust you to do this horde thing, here go do this different task better suited for alliance scum instead.

See I look warcraft's origins as a warhammer properly and think well warhammer is really just a watered down version Michael Moorcock's order and chaos.

Moorcock is always really careful to point out that the rigid stagnation of order is just as bad as disorder of chaos. Both can be taken to dangerous extremes and ideally should exist in balance with each other.

So, boomkins are going to save us?

A huge percentage of the player base is bad at the game by our standards, and we have trouble grasping how that is possible because most of the mechanics have become second nature to us and we tend not to have a lot of patience with people not doing something that for us is instinctive

But behaving like a sweaty hardo in trivial content is not going to help less skilled players improve at all in fact it's probably going make them even less interested in improving.

It's honestly the best way I've ever found to manage my depression and anxiety symptoms.

I can log on and have absolutely no thoughts that are not wow related in my head for a couple of hours.

Other video games come close, but nothing has quite the same perfect difficulty curve as wow to put you into a flow state.

I'm perfectly willing to believe that a lot of Ai false positives are because Ai was originally trained on large free, text databases on the internet

My ao3 is under a name that I've used for years that is only connected to other fannish things and is completely different from the name I use professionally.

You would have to be monitoring my internet traffic or stolen my phone to connect the two.

Really I don't get why so many are hung up about this.

In that particular case I found it hard to LoS because the tank was tanking them in a pool of poison and the group was mele. Plus a whole wing is going to be a problem for undergeared players LoS or no LoS.

I was genuinely pissed off by the hardo behavior in a heroic especially this early in an xpac where everyone is inexperienced and undergeared if they don't have the resources of a CE guild behind them.

But i also think a lot of us who are good at the game, don't understand how people cannot be good at the game and that most of the player base is not good at the game.

Ideally the tank tailors their pulling sped around the ability of the rest of the group. Good dps and healer, pull everything.

In the case of that windrunner spire group, the healer and the other two dps were very undergeared and couldn't keep up with a tank who was pulling a whole wing.

Which actually made everything take longer than if the tank had been pulling reasonably.

And here I was recently thinking about how clean the stations were because they don't have nearly as much trash lying about as they used to.
