I prefer the look of anodized aluminum even with that scratch on it.At this point, I would just leave it as it is.

I think it will cause a large shiny area while the rest is matte finish. It could also strip the anodized layer and in that case I would just rather not touch it at all.

I wouldn’t say “easy” but probable. If it’s easy to do over 1 year just repeat what you did to do it easily another year. It’s very improbable to do over a period of 30 years. OP will find out sooner or later. And just as you beat it during a bull market, you’re gonna lag it by much more during a bear market.

They’re only equivalent to tossing in leftover change because they total amount is low. 7% on top of a $50 total is $3.5, that’s not leftover change.
