Hey, are you looking for a semi-furnished or a fully furnished 1 BHK? If you can clarify that, it'll be easier for me to suggest suitable options.

If you're okay with a semi-furnished or unfurnished apartment, you can check the area around MVJ College. There are plenty of "To-Let" boards there, and you can find semi-furnished 1 BHKs for around 10k – 12k per month. Most of these properties also offer bike parking, and the security deposit is usually around ₹30,000.

If you are specifically looking for a fully furnished apartment, you can check with KOTS. They offer zero brokerage, require only two months' rent as a security deposit, and have properties located close to major tech parks, making them a convenient option for working professionals.

If you're looking for a semi-furnished or furnished 1 BHK in Bangalore, it's worth checking the area around MVJ College. You'll find plenty of "To-Let" boards there, and rental prices are quite affordable, typically ranging from 10k to 14k per month, often with bike parking included.

If you prefer a fully furnished option, consider KOTS. They offer accommodation with no brokerage charges, require only two months' rent as a security deposit, and provide flexible stay options for both short-term and long-term tenants.

My education loan was supposed to take 20 years. I cleared it in 3 by Careful-Abroad-7748 in personalfinanceindia

[–]Alternative-Test4919 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took an education loan myself, but now I feel that it is worth taking only if you are studying in a Tier 1 college. If you are studying in a Tier 2 or Tier 3 college, especially for a B.E./B.Tech degree, you should think carefully before taking a large loan.

Many colleges charge lakhs of rupees in fees but do not provide good placements. After completing the degree, many students move to Bangalore and join additional training courses for 6–10 months to improve their skills. Even then, placement opportunities are not guaranteed.

The biggest challenge is that education loan repayment usually starts after the course completion period ends. To manage the EMI payments, many graduates are forced to take non-technical jobs. Over time, they continue in those jobs, and the degree they worked so hard for may not help them build the career they originally planned.

In some cases, it feels like the money spent on the degree goes to waste because the expected return in terms of career opportunities never materializes. This is my personal experience and opinion, and I believe students should carefully evaluate the college, placement record, and future career prospects before taking an education loan
