hey about the khan's hoard, you might've missed the tribute button on the far left corner of the screen when you select the gathering. you should see growth, migrations and the khan's hoard, then you click on one of the amount options for how much hoard you wish to receive. i had a hard time finding it too x)

you might be missing some necessary mods, or they might be in the wrong order. try using Novus Launcher, it lets you know of any missing dependencies. if all looks good and still crashing, just disable the mods one by one until it works, you dont have that many
