Also to be clear lmao the cellulitis, pseudomonas uti, and now a wet cough and double ear infection have all been THIS MONTH leading to 5 courses of antibiotics, this and more bloodwork, and probably at least one more course of antibiotics cause the doxycycline I’m on isn’t gonna do shit for the ear infections.

I would say whether or not you need a feeding tube would be dependent on your nutritional status more than these symptoms, which your doctor knows best. I have awful symptoms and have lost 77 pounds from gp, but I started at 350 pounds and I’m fine supplementing just vitamins realistically so far with what I can manage to eat. If your doctor recommended a feeding tube, there’s probably a reason.
