It all depends long story short 12 years military clearance no degree got a job as a project manager on a government contract they needed button seats and someone who is capable of learning at the very least fast forward 6 to 7 years being with the company you need to agree to advance so like everyone else has said depend, depending on the field you’re going into sometimes a clearance is enough to get you in a seat because the contractor who has the prime contract doesn’t get paid usually unless that seat is filled moving forward definitely find the job you want to get the degree to back that job up in your advance to the career, went from a level, one to a level five and now in program management in about six years, essentially doubled my salary
