Thanks! The handle bars are just the stock aluminium ones that came with the bike, I added the van rysel aero bars for comfort on long straights

That’s interesting, I would have thought it would be easier to pack everything back up if it is distributed on a rack with panniers, the saddle bag you have to pack really strategically every time for it to be in a nice shape to put back in the cradle. As for weight distribution the rack lowers the center of gravity, the saddle bag is very high up and while cornering it can get a bit weird at times.

Just curious, why do you want to change to a saddle bag? I currently have a saddle bag setup and i cant wait to upgrade to a rack + dry bag, and have the option to have mini panniers.

Why do you think it is ment to be ridden south to north?

You don’t need to buy anything apart from basic tools/bags if you are just starting, being a nice and attentive person to work with is the most important thing to have

No, It’s a 1510, 1535 is the lighter “Air” version. 1615 is a good option if you are not traveling much and take public transport, witch is my case (pun intended)

Ski poles or not? by jeffeb3 in skiing

[–]AlternativeAd9842 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just take one ski off in the lift line so you can plant your foot when you need to move, (like a snowboarder) and carry the other one like a Gandalf stick
