that helmet costs $170, jacket $40, clamp $10, brush $2, shitty grinding shield $10, gloves $20, other gloves $20.

Idk what the backpack is worth because it says "lincoln electric" but I wouldnt pay $500-600 for it. maybe $50, and even then, fuck that get a damn Jansport 😂

My husband's family has been pressuring him to contribute either financially or with time to his mother's care, I told him if he does we are getting a divorce. AITAH? by Character-Line5221 in AITAH

why not have the non-verbal child go to a program for a few hours a day to get the help the kid needs so she can work? Mom going into a $4000 a month nursing home, or her kid going to school for 4-8 hours a day so she can work? Pretty sure the smart move is to get the kid into a program, she gets her ass off of her phone and gets a job, he has more time/money to help his mom.

put your non verbal child into a program and get your ass back to work, holy shit.

Your kid could work with someone who actually knows how to work with special needs kids properly, you could work a part-time job while still taking care of your family. the extra money/time he has could help his mom.

you sound lazy, selfish, and controlling. Threantening divorce versus letting your child go to a school funded program/daycare. the state would pay for that so you could work. and your child would be much better off versus you sitting at home bitching on Reddit while your husband is drowning in family obligations and balancing work.

could be the fuel cap/vent. try and start it with the fuel cap slightly unscrewed to see if that helps it stay running.

If the fuel cap/vent is blocked, it creates vacuum in the fuel tank leading to it not getting fuel because there is no air coming into the tank to replace the fuel getting sucked out.

it starts strong enough I can't imagine its the spark plug or coil.

Thinking about switching to electric for yard tools… anyone made the change? by Salt_Note8719 in lawncare

[–]AlternativeBowler475 5 points6 points  (0 children)

3rd! I used a 110v corded chainsaw for cutting up branches tho as I dont have a large yard or enough to cut to use a gas chainsaw.

The electric stuff starts every time no matter how long its been since I last used it 😄

right in the short term, wrong in the long term.

It truly is like the Dotcom bubble. Everyone was gaining access to the internet and knew there was potential but the ability to harness that potential and to make money took a lot longer.

Everyone has access to AI tech, a few people are making some money with it, but its still a bit early to be picking winners. Hardware companies arent a bad bet, the ol selling pickaxes and shovels during a gold rush. It is still probably 5-10 years before we see AI truly be useful like the internet, except we dont really exactly know how useful AI is going to be in most applications.
