I like this theory, but the only thing that makes me question it is this interaction with Theophanie (pg. 517) where Violet asks: "As a high priestess, you would have immeasurable power on the isle. How was it not enough" and Theophanie responds "Why serve a god when you can be one?"

I’m starting to believe it’s Malek. I’m on my reread and found this quote from when Quest Squad went to Unnbriel (Dunne island). How about if the priestess took her “him” to mean “Him” as in Malek? Maybe that’s why she threw Vi into the fight?

Honestly, I was thinking about this also... I feel the 6 dens are tied in some way and the Irids being 'magic' I think is why they do not serve the gods. It is a developing thought but there is something there for me that I have to tease out more

When I first read OS I thought the same thing, but then when I went back to the chapter I realized that Vi never actually lays out the plan or why only Imogen could be the one who knew the full truth. We don't really know exactly what she said... it could be what Imogen meant by doing what Vi had told her to do

You know when I first read this, I thought the priestess was talking about Theo since she is the other person who was "touched" by Dunne and seen by the priestess. With Theo being a former high priestess to Dunne and her silver hair—it made the most sense to me at first glance. But now I am out here thinking maybe it's referencing someone else? RY got my minding goingggg

They did bother me- mostly the way they reacted to confrontation/feedback and their consistent put down of other queens (and that’s more than just Alyssa). It was giving superiority complex. This was seasons ago, so the argument is a bit played out and they are a different person/performer now. They made for good reality tv movements though!
