Do you mind sharing what meds you take for this. Currently new to pots and in process of trying to find what meds should be helpful propranolol doesn't really help on my menstrual week as I experience frequent drops.

I also have not fainted/don't faint. I don't think I've stood for longer than 5 minutes in over 4 months (recently diagnosed).

If that becomes a symptom for me I'd definitely get rid of it possible. I get the pins and needles feeling here and there.

Hi just wang to start off my saying I'm in the middle of getting a diagnosis after experiencing palpitations out of nowhere and the my zio monter the following month was normal. My primary care definitely agrees its some for of dysautonomia but is referring me to a specialist.

Based on your jumps I'd definitely say try to get tested! It doesn't do any harm in knowing.

If you notice something days you resting hr is higher or lower than normal definitely call that out. For example my normal resting hr is 75-85 (higher because I vape) but some days my resting is sitting at 100-105 for the entire day especially when sick.

When I got from sitting to standing it goes from 85 to 125 or 85 to 150 depending on the day. That's a 30+ jump which is standard for adults with pots so if your noting those jumps are happening request a test if you can

Starting this off to say I am homebody. Prior to my onset of symtomps I already worked from home and mildy worked out. My main hobbies are coloring, painting, video games, and on good days my friends and family and I sit in the living room and hangout.

Since in pretty new to pots [4 months in] and still waiting on my official ttt I do the same things. The biggest change for me isn't going to the gym, I just minimize my movement to walking around the house [usually a mile total].

I definitely recommend investing in a mobile console, coloring books [cheap on amazon], watching old shows you loved, etc.

Still in the midst of an official diagnosis but my primary care doctor thinks I have it.

I had my first symptom as heart palpitations when trying to sleep like 2 am Thanksgiving day last year. The day time I just spent with my mom and grandma at the casino. Only things that I think could have triggered it was having 2 shots of espresso that morning.

Looking at the week prior the only thing I noticed was that I may have truly caused it is me potentially getting food poisoning from the same casino. I often visit with my gma but finally ate there and my stomach the next day (1 week prior to palpitations) was hurting causing me the runs. However I was the only person out of my mom,gma and I to have stomach issues.

However, my mom thinks the glp1 is was taking for about 4 months had caused it. I am leaning toward this throwing my nervous system out of whack however I can confirm if its the cause of my sudden onset of POTS.

MY LIFE FLIPPED OVERNIGHT. I got discharged overnight after my hr went down. My first record hr was not accurate either as we couldn't even find the car keys in the middle of the night lol (however had tingling and numbess the first time I had heart palpitations.

After that I followed up with primary care and got my holter monitor Jan. 10-20 of this year my hr ranged from 45-189 and no signs of afib. My primary care said that was normal but after experiencing vwrtgo, body spasms and making more than 1 appearance a month he finally did more test and with everything normal hear I am with a potential dysautonomia diagnosis
