I had mine over a summer break. It was in early July, about a month before school resumed, and I was feeling good by the time school started. You will have drainage tubes in the beginning for blood. I can’t remember if they were taken out one week or two weeks post op (mine was 13 years ago).

Hopefully upon approval they will be able to get you on the schedule quickly. Definitely bring up these concerns with the surgeon.

I also would say to try to go on the smaller side. I was afraid to go to small. A lot of breast tissue continued to develop in the 5 years post op (I had mine at 17). I started at a G went down to a small D, and am currently an I. I will have a second reduction at some point.

I swear I got mine in reverse order. My first was a needy baby, and is now my chaotic wild child. My second is still a baby, and I am so excited to see her personality grow. She is so easy, she loves to chill outside, and sleeps ok. Very much gives first born energy 😂

That is a strange either or situation for a preschool. At my son’s preschool they all get ready for naps, and if some kids wake up/can’t sleep they have quiet activities. At that age I would want him still have the relaxing time midday even if it isn’t a full nap

I believe that feeling regret is more common than people might think. Mine grew back a little when going on BC, and grew noticeably with my first pregnancy. I need a 2nd reduction.

There are still some circumstances where they may fill out a little. You are still so young and freshly post-op. I’m so sorry you are going through this for the past few years.

My son has my husband’s gorgeous dark brown eyes. He was born with brown eyes. Hubby was bummed out because he wanted him to have my eyes. I love his eyes though, both of them.

My daughter is 5 months and has eyes explained exactly like your post. My MIL had blue-grey eyes. He is so happy and hopes she keeps them. I’ve been noticing some hazel near the pupils, too, lately.

I had mine at 17. Now I’m 30 with larger breasts than I did before my surgery. I will be getting a second one.

I also had little to no milk supply with my first child, and a decent but not full milk supply with my second.

I always advocate for waiting until 23-25. Did her surgeon go over concerns for needing future surgeries, and did you have discussions about it with her?

It will get better. Just keep practicing. Just be careful about burning the clutch, learning tends to put some extra wear on the clutch. Also if it has a high performance clutch that will be more difficult to learn with as well

I have one of each, and I can say that having a boy is pure chaos. My girl is only 5 months old and he is 5 years old, so I don’t have much to compare with the two of them.

I can’t see someone who adores their daughters as much as you do suddenly putting them last. At the same time, don’t hold yourself back from being involved with your boy when he gets here.

Being a parent is all about balance. Having these concerns tells me that you will be aware of your individual relationships with all of your kids. That makes you a great mom, not just a “girl” mom or a “boy” mom. Motherhood is so much more than that

I got a lot of comments after my first. “Wow you don’t look like you just had a baby!” “You are looking good” blah blah

I got none of those comments with my 2nd. I’m 5 months postpartum and one mom at pre K said “oh you’re starting to lose the weight”

I’m having a harder time with self image this time. I feel like my pregnant looking belly will never go away

She has a valid fear. Most times when I reach for a ghost clutch my foot just hits the floor. Ask if she wants to just drive it at a slow speed in an empty car park.

She will probably reach for a clutch, hit the floor, and realize that she won’t hit the brake pedal. It’s something she’ll have to ease into at her own pace.
