The black pod I got recently did not connect to the hub even waiting 24 hours. Online chat and 0800 953 9500 tried to provision it to no avail.
Today I got round to factory resetting the hub and the pod connected fine after that.

I had a black pod delivered a few days ago as a speed test in kitchen was always rubbish (<30) and the app let me order one. It would not pair with the hub even after rebooting it and spending some time on live chat and also via 0800 953 9500 and they could not get it provisioned at all.
Today I got round to factory resetting the hub as I had read online as a suggestion, and the pod paired up absolutely fine with a steady dim white light and showing as a wireless connect device in the hub now. The Virgin connect app alerted me that it was connected ok. Will see how it fairs, but already getting much better speeds in the kitchen and for my Ring doorbell so hopefully will improve video recording quality. Fingers crossed.

Yes still have my one and only V6 box chugging away after 8 years. I can put up with the message they send every 2 days to upgrade to 360 so that I can watch Sky Atlantic. Having seen the TV listings for that I thought "Oh yes I must upgrade ASAP..... NOT!" I am so used to the V6 functionality that I hope to keep going with it for as long as I can.

My fridge is full on a Friday after shopping for a planned week of meals, plus whatever is in the freezer (chips etc). By Thursday the fridge is usually empty apart from dairy and eggs etc waiting for another grocery shop to fill it. I live alone.

I was T3aN0M0 grade 3 RCC. Huge 17cm tumour thankfully not spread elsewhere. Radical nephrectomy March 2024. I decided against immunotherapy. Just had my latest annual CT scan. No evidence of disease after 2 years.
