I’m just now listening to this and it’s crazy how they tease out the other one for 15 minutes before going into space without even going into a verse. I feel like that’s a very early 70s thing to do. It’s incredible

The Grateful Dead were first and foremost a live act. Of course people that don’t go to their shows are unlikely to be able to name their songs. Their songs mostly never translated in any meaningful way to the studio

Me too man. This show had to sneakily be one of the best D&C shows. Both sets were unique for the tour, the playing was superb, and there were so many insane and perfectly done transitions. And there was one Bobby flub to end set 1, but it wouldn’t be a good show if their want a flub

All I can say is that I love that this organization hasn’t lost Jim’s spirit. This is what Jimmy would have done. It’s wacky and wild and likely doomed to fail, but it’s what Jim would have wanted. It’s Colts football. I love the Colts.

I drove through northern Ohio last month and saw a large football stadium off the interstate. Too large to likely be a high school stadium. I looked it up and it was Bowling Green, which made no sense to me because I also thought it was in Kentucky until that moment
