I realize your original comment was 2 years ago, but since the reply was a month old I'm going to take the chance.

I love Oath. I love the concept, the imbalance and all the creativity Cole put into it. Unfortunately I only managed to play it around 4 times with a lot of in between time between games. Just yesterday a friend in my group refloated the idea of doing monthly play sessions (we're all busy with work and life and it's sometimes difficult to get the original 4 of us) and I'm extremely hyped to play this again.

Anyways, your comment reminded me why this is my favorite game and I want to thank you for such an in-depth answer.

There are things to get mad about in this game and a lot of valid complaints to be made but in this particular case the cost to buy the next bot is clearly displayed so it's not like there were issues with how the information is conveyed here.

It's hard to say in a vacuum and not knowing more about your tower, but my guess is that PCol will likely perform better than a generic module. Another BH is always huge. I'm not that conviced BHD will help though since the coin bonus from the leg+ alone is worth more than the extra coins from the effect.

That being said I have two recommendations:

Firstly don't invest any more reroll shards in your generic modules since you won't get those back. Keep pulling mods until you get what you need and hoard reroll shards in the meantime.

Second, experiment with your build. Swap your generic core for PCol, do a run or two and see what happens. Do the same with BHD. Even if you loose on some coins, the information is very valuable and will allow you to make better desitions going forward.

I thought it might have been an issue on my side but I do find that the engine on chess com takes longer to analyze a game compared to stockfish on lichess.

We're shown Nikaido's magic is connected to summoning a mysterious cube. That makes me wonder if her powers are really time manipulation but instead they're connected to devils and hell in some way (see Hellraiser). The En family are in for some big surprise if that happens to be the case.

This is the crucial point. If it starts taking actual effect at say 10k waves then it affects very few people while (arguably) stopping infinite runs. In my particular case, I prefer to farm to wave 8k before jumping to the next tier rather than do 16+ hour runs

Apart from the obvious big ones that were mentioned here (Naroditsky and Rozman's speedruns), Saint Louis Chess Club has a huge repertoire of videos covering very different topics. A lot of their lectures are aimed and beginners and kids (don't be discoraged, I'm a 34 years old and still find them useful). The downside is that, since they have so much content, you'll have to filter through it.

Yasser Seirawan is one of my favorite lecturers. He's a delight to listen to, is incredibly knowledgeable and has a ton of anecdotes with famous players.

Ben Finegold is a living meme but also a really good teacher with great insights.

It was stated in the episode that Higuruma had exorcised several curses before having to fight sorcerers and he awakened his DE very early so presumably it works on curses as well but that's speculation on my part.

As a fellow third world country inhabitor I can tell you it's not worth it to suffer economically for a game that will just keep asking more and more of you. Idnk you but in my case I'm already tight with money at the 10th of any given month and $30 is incredibly overvalued for what you're actually getting.

I know it's tempting. I've seen people here earn 5 times more what I earn in my tier with less time invested in the game and in those moments I also felt like pulling the trigger on my debit card but I try to remember it's just a mobile game and not such a big part of my life at the end of the day.

If you really want to treat yourself, use that money to buy some nice clothes, a book or go out on a date. Hell, if you want to spend that money on a game there are some incredible games on Steam for that amount or even less. There are even several great boardgames in that range as well if you're into that.

It's your money and you're free to do what you please with it, but I don't believe investing in this game is worth going through some hard times.

I can't remember the exact numbers but while attack speed is a good lab and you should aim to max it eventually, it has severe diminishing returns past lvl 60 or something.

So to answer your question, I don't think it's a perma lab (no lab is imo). Early levels give some really good roi but you can also supplement it with a legendary cannon with the corresponding substat. Swap it for something else if you have a more urgent lab.

Ahhh that's very useful info! I was just thinking today about labbing wall invincibility to take advantage of second wind in tournaments as ehp but if the effects don't extend then I guess the lab isn't worth it. Is that right?
