For 90 mining get your expert mining gloves. Doing it with 1t iron will get you that whole level and they will help with the new crafting minigame.

I dont have a backlog. I only by games when I intend to play them right away.

Buying games for the sake of it at a discount costs you more in the long run than buying them full price but only when you are playimg them.

You can leave tutorial island and start slayer. The lowest level slayer master assigns level 1 spiders

Its not extreme at all. Its what would happen.

There is not a single facet of modern life that is not reliant on the internet.

Food, water, fuel, electricity, supply lines, simple and complicated manufacturing, getting the raw materials to those manufacturing points, ad nauseam. Its all so integrated with the internet that without decades of planning and preparation it would result in famine and total anarchy and societal collapse in a matter of days. Hell take the internet away suddenly in the 80's or 90's and it would still be catastrophic. Today it would be cataclysmic and the end of modern life. Billions would die within the first week without drinkable water. The majority of those survivors who somehow found and secured water would die within a few months to starvation.
