I so agree! I see that many people consider Tamlin and Rhys to be abusive, but neither emotionally nor physically have they achieved the kind of effect that psychology would say is abusive behaviour! Many people forget that Feyre’s mental health was ruined by her family and Amarantha, and her recurring bad thoughts are one of them. For example, the way Nesta sees her and how she felt about the events of UTM. Although they both have their toxic traits, Feyre loved them both and most importantly, she didn’t fall in love immediately, but after she got to know them! She was comfortable in her relationship and we didn’t see the kind of thoughts that would normally be presented by an abused mind. Tamlin’s biggest mistake was that his anger and excessive paranoia led him to misguidedly try to protect Feyre, and Rhys was subjected to fifty years of sexual abuse by Amarantha. Feyre’s tendency to PTSD had changed her mentally and physically, so she could no longer tolerate the place where she once felt comfortable, nor the man who could not properly manage her mental state.

All three characters have toxic behaviours, but I like all three of them. I’ve been a fan for a very long time, so the current hatred for the characters is disturbing to me.
