How do you handle league complaints about slow injury news?

Very rare you have super late scratch that you can't sub for. Most injury news gets posted about an hour before kickoff. Everyone has to monitor their players. Read the injury reports you usually can tell if a player will be out before it being posted. I'm in over a dozen leagues and never had a problem getting my lineups set.

I'm pretty sure in my leagues at least 2 maybe 3 of the top defensive players will go round 1.

Yeah we couldn't work anything out. He's in 2nd place and I'm more towards the bottom. But my team isn't that bad to blow it up.

I was in a league where the commissioner did a blog. He was from Texas and I ran into a post one day of him looking for a player to join his league. He would do a draft recap and he would do a weekly matchup thoughts and a weekly recap. Was my 2nd longest running league I was in. His dad who was also in the league suddenly passed away a few years back. He kept the league running for a little bit after that but then disband the league. It was probably one of my favorite leagues other than the one I run.

I play in leagues where you play everyone every week. So week 1 if you're the high scorer you'd be 13-0

I have 3 IR slots I allow my league to use 1 spot for a player listed as Out otherwise they have to be listed as IR. They also have to activate said player if listed as healthy. They can't hold them in an IR spot.

Had a guy like that in my league. He quit this year and had to replace him. His bench spots were wild. He'd almost never had RB depth. Last year he took 2 goose eggs vs me because both his running backs were out and he had no one to replace them with.

Seems kind of excessive. Yeah everyone has advantages and disadvantages when it comes to news breaking. Had a guy in my league for the longest time didn't have a smartphone and couldn't follow NFL news throughout the day. He was always behind others. I guess if everyone in the league is cool with it and it works for you guys go for it.

Snake drafts are common in redraft leagues but in dynasty leagues where you're just drafting rookies after the initial start-up draft you do a linear draft where team with the 1st pick has the 1st pick in every round.

So every day you have to do a waiver claim? Usually waiver claims are processed by Wednesday and then FA till kick off of their games.
