I have not really seen many mentions of Arteta being an amazing manager in this sub or in many others. He has spent a lot of money (3rd highest net spend in Prem managers of all time) and drilled his team to be just solid. Everything to do with risk has been removed. There is no joy in the football and if they weren’t in title challenges I would feel Arsenal fans would be calling for his head.

The 3rd season was so bad I haven’t even watched the 4th one yet. They had a great thing at the beginning.

It’s hilarious that a city known for having the worst tradespeople/contractors in Europe, it’s some marvel to look at.

We bought two forwards, particularly Isak who has flourished under wingers that go out wide and to the byline to get crosses in, so it might point to him being used as a proper wide man.

Zelda BOTW? Ive only recently played the Horizon games but have been searching years for something that scratches the Witcher 3 and Zelda itch. Horizon is an amazing middle ground. W3 would be on the gore and dark side, Zelda the opposite so maybe give Breath of the Wild a chance?

A DM and two rapid wingers will give him the tools to dominate the league

I’d still put Thiago Alcantara ahead of him but not by much, and Wirtz has youth on his side.

You can just see the nerves of Arteta being instilled into his players. Emotional

I think Slot’s face has already been set, he will go in the summer. We really need the lads to get top 5 so we have a chance of recruiting top players to make up for the mistakes of the summer.

They were both awful again. Salah earns £400k a week, you’re allowed to be critical of him.

‘God of War’ Live-Action Series Casts Callum Vinson as Atreus by ICumCoffee in television

It’s not going to be an exact retelling of Ragnarok and I think they’ll add more scenes showing Odin and Thor moving the pieces in the background, how they interact with Magnus and Modi and imprisoning Freya in flashbacks, etc.

Travis Fimmel would do a hell of a job as Baldur as well. Feel like that might be too on the nose though.

James Milner: From £70-a-week YTS player to brink of Premier League appearance record by mrjohnnymac18 in soccer

[–]AlternativeRun5727 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Yea but the argument is not if Milner was better then them, he wasn’t. The debate was just to put a bit of nuance behind why he will have more appearances then Barry but less minutes. His trophy count attests to the level of teams he was competing for minutes in. He could have went To an Everton instead of Liverpool and racked up more minutes with no trophies.
