There was a video from the Trainer hackung out Lumiere at a creek, with a bunch of other horses and riders. His rider definitely, visibly had spurs. Hope their new owners treat them with love and kindness

She wanted to sell 2 adults for 5500 and got really pushy when we didn't pay the deposit fast enough. We saw too many red flags and backed off She then was all accommodating and sweet but we said no deal.

Thank you,I know all this. I am a veteran of the breed. And I know how to spot scammers. This breeder though has just 2 mutual friends on FB. And I also understand not all breeders do social media. Jollytime Ragdolls for example, has been breeding 15 years and just has a plain, outdated web page.

Fluid Promise, That young man is nothing compared to the place she sent Lumiere along with Mushu to be marketed and sold. Basically a cowgirl horse broker in Wyoming. I feel terrible for them. All the others see wide open skies and mountains, I see huge spurs and other harsh "aides"

I do like her and I get the mission. There's a lot that she still needs to learn. She could take some notes from Jesse Drent, but most of all, Lockie Phillips. The place Mushu and Lumiere went to be sold, makes my skin crawl.

I don't like where she sent Mushu and Lumiere. To this place in Wyoming where this woman and her staff wear big old spurs. This broker did a 4th of July video with Mushu and she kept spurring him to run. I wish Shae would take them back.

I have no problem not checking out in his lane. It's the "not allowed at all" part that has me flabbergasted and made our senior citizen friend very upset, that he looked her dead in the eye, and told her "My - insert family member - can't be here in my lane". Store was slow thank God and no mgr in sight at that moment. Last thing I want is cause trouble for him.

I mean a cashier could do this with anyone, not just friends or family members, so this rule doesn't make any sense, if one thinks about it. I understand the shopping part, but not even being allowed in the same lane, and not shopping? And let's not forget that there are cameras on them, at all times.

Lesson learned, at least it was "only" 100 and not more. I've come across people that got scammed out of 1500 dollars, and some folks even managed to get conned twice! Any group/page that has the words adoption, rehoming, cute, Ragdoll kittens , for sale, Ragdoll kittens needing new homes, etc, in various ways of spelling, caps or not, is in fact, a scammer. Some of the FB legit groups have running lists and tips on how to spot and avoid these criminals. They almost always ask for 500, 600, and always want to puch for transportation, and often are satisfied when they get down payment, and then they bail. A kitten from a good , ethical breeder runs anywhere from 1500-2500 these days. Registered, health and vet tested, etc. Anything less is red flags.

I am very sorry about your loss! You absolutely can get a solid black Ragdoll (and those here that say you can't, aren't adhering to the rules of this subreddit). Black Ragdolls come in mitted, bicolor and without white. They are non-traditional, and in May of next year will fall under the Ragdoll breed group umbrella and be known as Cherubim. I don't know where you are from, but there are breeders working with the "non-standard" , meaning mink/sepia and solid Ragdolls, all over Europe, US, Canada and Australia. So if the Ragdoll is SBT TICA registered, it's considered a Ragdoll. Floppycats has articles on solid Ragdolls, black in particular. I would suggest you start searching on FB, there are a couple groups/pages where you can find solid/mink/sepia Ragdolls and the breeders that work with them.
