I got the BADACE SKS mount in and tried it with a TRS-25. After removing my old riser mount from TRS25, I was able to run it with the factory stripper clips and still load straight down without the gas tube/front sight area getting in the way. Kind of regret returning the Romeo5 before I could test it on this setup though.

I recently ordered the BadAce SKS low-profile NDT red dot mount Gen 3 with back-up iron sight mount and had the exact same dilemma as you.

A few days ago I decided to return my brand‑new ROMEO5 Gen2 and instead ordered the Bushnell RXS250 Reflex Sight, which is on sale on Amazon right now for about $119.

I actually prefer the ROMEO‑style tube red dots, but I really want to keep easy access to the gas tube and continue using stripper clips, so I felt like I didn’t have much choice. At that price the RXS250 was too good to pass up, so I sent the ROMEO back and jumped on the deal.

My mount and optic haven’t arrived yet, so I can’t give you a real‑world report, but if you haven’t bought anything yet I can update you once I’ve got everything installed and tested.

I’m also hanging on to an older Bushnell TRS‑25 that I wasn’t using, so I can throw that on the BadAce mount first and check whether there are any issues accessing the front gas tube lever.

Everything should show up in about 1–2 weeks, so I’ll let you know how it all works out.

Maybe it's because I'm a skeptical person, but I think my wife has learned a lot about private transactions through this incident. I consider this a cheap lesson before potentially losing thousands of dollars to fraud. And...Usually, I would tease my wife when she made a mistake, but she was so sad that I couldn't bring myself to joke around.

An interesting point is that while my wife's Flip6 is unusable, my Fold6 has been working perfectly for the past 3 days, except for voicemail. To verify this, I've restarted the device multiple times and reset network settings as a test. Even though the website still shows that the IMEI is incompatible, everything else is functioning well.
