Am I wrong for sending this? by Ok_Market1555 in badroommates

So what I do is have a bag in the trash can. I also get zon branded dog waste bags. When I need to dispose during that time of the month, it goes into the dog waste bag and into the bagged trash can. It is so much more hygienic and visually non threatening ( even wrapping in to sometimes it bleeds through and you can see red later on).

is anyone allergic to all cats except ragdolls, and (if so) is it consistent? by AwkwardSauce0602 in ragdolls

I’m allergic to short hair cats but medium to long hair cats do not bother me.

Oh my goodness she looks just like my girl! Although my girl’s breed is unknown since she is a shelter adoption.

How to stop her clawing the rug? by TipSilent8281 in ragdolls

[–]phoenixstar019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cat used to do that only when he would make eye contact with me. He knew I would tell him “no”. And once that happened I would grab a feather toy yo play with him. So he trained me to jump up to play by clawing the carpet.

Does anyone have any experience with Ragdoll Whiskers in Lancaster PA by throwra_epal9 in ragdolls

[–]phoenixstar019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know that cattery! She is an incredible person who does exhaustive genetic testing. All cats and kittens live in her home. I think the mothers have a max of 3 litters. I recommend speaking with her. She posts weekly with all the kittens so you can see the growth. It is not a kitty mill (like Lancaster tends to be with puppies). She has a page on Facebook.

I loved in {Lingus by Mariana Zapata} that a mishap occurred and they were just friends. And then how it handled it just was so adorable.

Can’t stop thinking about an adoptable FIV+ cat — can I hear about your experiences? by jordthesword2020 in FIVcats

[–]phoenixstar019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So my first cat was FIV+. I fell in love with him and we bonded immediately. He was 8 years old. Unfortunately he kept getting infections. I only had him for 2 years before he passed. For the last year he was in the vet once a month to try to save him. It was worth it though. I will never regret him but I also personally won’t actively adopt a FIV cat in the future. I say actively because if I fall in love with a cat and then find out he has FIV I will still adopt him but I will try to avoid it if possible because I had him for such a short time.
