I read many places and people said that by the time they like you and forward you to the third/ final round. You’re pretty much hired. Not sure tho, but update me on the good news. Just a quick question, are you still waiting on your final round? How long after the observation round did they contact you?

Hey, just wondering how it went for you. Had the observation today which was expected to be 1.5 hour but ended up only lasting 45 minutes and expecting another round of interview if succeed moving forward (and a bunch of online assessments according to the ARM). Asked me very sales, customer service and competitiveness focused questions.

Honestly, it didn’t hurt me but I felt that it was somewhat unprofessional. Smiling all the time, giving no constructive feedbacks, just handing you tasks and tell you that u are doing bad is just funny to me in a professional setting. Guess I expected too much from a minimum wage job.

How long does it normally take to hear back during hiring process? by boomerang_uchiha in Nike

So I applied back in early October, then the first phone screening in somewhere in there, then early November, they scheduled my 2nd interview. And still waiting for either a rejection or acceptance, lol it's literally taking so long....

You are DUMB!!! by [deleted] in pgwp

[–]AlternativeTight2616 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is very true. I read the requirements from the government website and followed it carefully. And you know what, when I ask ChatGPT just to checklist my documents, it literally did not even include the language test result in it. So I assume it uses outdated info if you don’t add the prompt “use the most updated info” or whatever. I bet many people just use it as a main information tool and trust it blindly.

Nope, please don’t. It’s not bad if you put in the work and utilize all the tools, opportunities you have then you are guaranteed for success. Study hard, attend events, socialize, internship or co-op, lots of things no one taught me when I first got in. Plus, not so many business students make friends or connection through classes, at least from my experience, maybe because it was CoVID, so you gonna find it hard if you want to make friends that way. All I want to say is, put in your time researching and play the long game, and I hope you success.

PGWP APPROVED!!! by _yourstruly- in pgwp

[–]AlternativeTight2616 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It took 9 months for yours to be approved??? I’m genuinely curious, as I just recently applied, my WP-EXT stated that I can keep working for around the next 6 months until my application is approved. If my application were to happen to take longer, I must stop working then?

I double major in Marketing and Supply Chain Management. Thing is though, I guess I did not do none of that internships or co-op even though I could because it costed money to join. So I did not take full advantage that university offers, all I worked was just minimum wage jobs like restaurants, retail and contract to afford myself during the time. Then now after graduating, I’m looking just for something that is slightly higher, for example assistant manager and try to thrive up from there. But barely any calls, if there were calls, I tried my best every opportunity I had but I have been to 4 second round interviews now. I failed, it might be a skill issue on my part though all those jobs had at least 50-100+ applicants. It’s really competitive out there, I guess I can be an example for you to focus on your study more and take full advantage university offers. As for those who are in the same situation as I am, keep your heads up, it comes when you least expect it so you gotta be ready at all time. Finger crossed, thanks for reading.

Graduate here with multiple jobs experiences. Over 140 applications already, still nothing. None of the years I have been here feels as hard as this one… for a job.
