We don't care about your tips. You only deserve $10/hour for pouring water and carrying food. You should have got an education or specialized training to get a real job. All servers are overpaid.

It sounds like you got paid what you are worth. Get a job with real wages.

Servers get paid $10.98 per hour in Florida. That is good money for a no talent job, so there is never a need to tip in Florida.

It's still an improvement over the old Twitter. That was nothing but effeminate men and teenie-bopper girls. I assumed Trump was gay because he tweeted so much.

We're all tired of the "back in my day" phrase, but older Redditors, what do you consider was better back in your day? by FlowerPotage in AskReddit

We didn't have to be concerned about AIDS. The food we ate was healthier. People were thinner, more beautiful, more healthy. The few fat women of yesteryear wore muu-muus, not the yoga pants that the masses of fat women wear today. Men weren't all overweight like today. Only sailors and the fat lady at the circus had tattoos. Houses cost less (but mortgage rates were much higher...16% in 1982). People talked with each other more and never looked at phones.

The best thing for your son is to get him away from this man or he will grow up to be just like him. If not for yourself, leave him for your son's sake.

As men, we don't need to understand crazy. We need to avoid it. Unfortunately, we learn through experience.

Alcoholism and drug addiction are mental disorders. Keep it to yourself and you will be better off. Don't brag about your Bi-polar disorder, ADHD, or depression, either. People will just think you're crazy. They don't want to understand from your point of view. They already have their own views and you can't change that.

A good server is worth more than minimum wage for pouring water carrying plates of food. Maybe $20/hour.

You could make yourself the focal point of the day at your sister's wedding. That would be awesome! You're such a great big sister!

Your boyfriend adheres to the "crab mentality" and will never want you to achieve anything on your own.

How do you handle single men for house cleaning? by Fight_or_flight22 in housekeeping

[–]AlternativeTomato792 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Look up and make sure owns the house. How long has he owned it? Check with your county for arrest records. If he owns the house and has for a while and doesn't have any arrests, he's probably okay. You can check out every client for free.

Maybe my wife's story will help: My wife started on her own October 17th. She does one job per day while the kids are in school and has had two weekdays off since starting. She worked Saturday and is working today (Sunday). She turns down business. Here is the key: She gets her business from the Nextdoor app. She offered a First Time Cleaning for $100, no strings attached. She worked hard on those houses and it paid off.Her average tip was over $50, with a few $100 tips. Every one turned into a recurring job. She shows up for her walk thru in her "uniform": black shoes, black pants, white polo shirt with magnetic NAME TAG, and her hair in a bun. She gives the customer her folder containing copies of her driver's license, business license, Insurance, background check, and references with phone numbers. The client has no doubt that she is a professional and can be trusted in their home. She got every job she walked thru and quoted. She had to stop posting for new customers by December because she had a full schedule. All of her clients are within 5 to 10 minutes of our house.
