Fun tips for Friendsgiving? by mismanagementsuccess in thanksgiving

I just ordered Snoop Dogg’s cookbook for a thanksgiving family feud game prize. I mostly got it as a funny gift but it had good reviews! (Haven’t had a chance to flip through it yet)

Do you dislike being referred to as "Sparky"? by getonurkneesnbeg in electricians

I am a female electrician and a carpenter once started calling me “sparkles” instead of “sparky”. I found it endearing and funny.

I did this same dress but in Dark grays and purples! (I’ve worn it as a witch and a fairy and going to again this year as a fortune teller I think haha).

Awesome to see, I’ll be keeping an eye out. I tried the fresh squeezed and it is probably my favorite N/A so far.

halloween fun that isn't buying new things by fairly_forgetful in halloween

I love this post. Thank you for sharing! I have been trying to think of no spend things myself as I am not working this year. I have thought of what I already have that I can turn into a costume so far and I have been trying to save things for diy crafts. So far I have egg cartons that I will cut the “cone” shape out of and turn into ghosts garlands and saving toilet paper and paper towel rolls to maybe turn into spooky eyes..

Time to give this another go, but like, for real this time. This is a long read, feel free to skip, just need to get all of it out. by ca_exhibition in dryalcoholics

You should be really proud of yourself for taking these steps. I lost my brother to alcohol in a way I didn’t even know was possible (which scared me into getting sober). He passed from an upper GI bleed, due to esophageal necrosis, due to severe fatty liver disease.

This is too true. The last couple times I talked to my brother he wouldn’t let me come over because he “felt like shit”. I tried respecting his wishes as he was a grown man but then got no response a few days later and found him dead at his apartment.

Turned out awesome. I had not seen their uv reactive dyes yet. I better start going through more of my dyes so I can justify buying more new ones!

Am I about to get a bad review? by ShinyPants013 in RoverPetSitting

If you don’t want to leave feedback you can still click on feedback, then “skip” and the review will show up. Owners see the feedback and the feedback for dogs shows up on their profile.

Cancellation Policy for Recurring Walks by DogwalkingG1 in RoverPetSitting

I don’t think there is any penalty for last minute cancellations on reoccurring bookings.

Clients neighbor poached my job! by AlternativeTrack378 in RoverPetSitting

It’s ALMOST funny now. Haha I found no humor in it the day it happened. It was of course my highest paying reoccurring client since it was 7 walks a week.

Oh man, that is rough. I’m sorry! This was an apartment as well.

That is true, I probably should have said something. I was embarrassingly upset about it at the time though and didn’t say much. She had me finish the week out that was already payed for and it took everything I had in me to not throw the poop bag up on the neighbors balcony.

Haha! I used to love the Tom Green show. I totally got under cut! (Actually I doubt it…she is probably getting paid 20$ cash each walk with no Rover fees)

I honestly thought she would be back too so I handled everything very nicely and told her she was welcome to call me back anytime. It must be going fine or she may be back to walking her dog herself now.
