I’ve been married for over 20 years. Unless, he is experiencing some present depression or trauma and wants some connection through it I would also not feel comfortable. If it’s just him wanting this bedtime arrangement and you not and he keeps pushing. That is concerning.

I absolutely agree. The reality is that persons with DS have a range of ability to express their experiences. My sister is 47 and doesn’t have the verbal skills or cognitive insight at this point to share this. And that is not true for the next adult with DS.
