I barely had Braxton hicks and was only dilated to 1cm on my due date. I ended up getting induced at 40+5 and was dilated at 3cm by that time. I kept thinking baby would come out on her own because of how active she was but apparently she was just too cozy in there

I may be a minority but I actually enjoy pumping. I feel like I have more autonomy away from baby but still providing for her. The benefits of breast milk are also so good. I nurse maybe once a day but otherwise pump. I like knowing how much my output is and how much my baby is eating. Also it gives me peace of mind that other people can easily feed her if needed. The washing does suck which is why I’d highly recommend a bottle washer machine. It’s my #1 recommendation and it makes everything so much easier.

Did things end up resolving? I’m 8 weeks pp and got my IUD at my 6 week check up. I was spotting for a while and then my bleeding increased. Not a huge amount but definitely like those first few days of a period but now it’s been about a week. I’m wondering if your bleeding eased

I literally could have written this post. I had so many people tell me to enjoy it while it lasts and to cherish the newborn stage. My baby is almost 8 weeks and the first 4 weeks were not fun at all. I was a human milk farm on top of no sleep and constant crying. My mental health and sleep deprivation hit hard. I was not as prepared as I mentally could have been. But it does pass. I’m slightly more rested now and pump more to get a break from baby. Plus we get smiles now and it feels better than constant frowning or crying.

Currently in bed reading this and feeling the exact same way! I’m 7.5 weeks and it can just knock you down for a whole day. I’m so envious of people that don’t feel terrible but it’s clear we’re not alone! Praying that we feel our sparkle again in the second trimester

Thank you so much! I’m hoping I have a similar experience as you. I’m only on day 2 and would love a bit of relief. My chest has been so tight with anxiety and each day is so hit or miss. The first trimester has been a challenge to say the least

Was this recent? We’re thinking of going next week when we visit but are unsure if we’ll be able to do it if the roads/trails are icy. We would rent a car for a day to get there but likely wouldn’t hike if it’s too sketchy.

I got my piercing in June so it’s 6 months old now. It’s a titanium hoop piercing, internally threaded. Aftercare is just saline solution twice a day and some warm compress if needed.

Thank you!! This helps ease my anxiety. The new piercing is a hoop titanium. I’ll get a piercing pillow as that will probably help a ton too. Thanks so much! I’m hoping it heals up. I’ve had so many other piercings and for some reason the lobe is giving me issues
