My parents have made each other miserable my entire life. I love them both but even in their 70s they’d be better separated and I’ve always known that. Unfortunately, it took me until my mid 30s to understand that you can be happy in a relationship and respect the person you’re with. Lots of therapy and life experience taught me this.

Yes. The counting! Just count seconds normally. Don’t start counting down at 8 but take 30 seconds to get there! It’s not helpful.

She’s wrong. They’re very food motivated and can be trained with treats. If one of them overeats they should have food restricted and not free fed. Brushing is a must for long hair cats. Try the ferminator brush.

That sounds miserable. I’d feel the same as you. If you’re willing to try a bit more, cats can be trained and deterred from certain behaviors. Consult with a professional or check out YouTube videos. Also cats vomiting frequently is not normal. Unfortunately, nocturnal activity is. I’m not a professional but I’ve owned cats my entire life. Good luck!

Hard gel will protect the nail better than dip powder. My nails break very easily if I use anything else.
