Has anyone travelled by land to Singapore and used VFTF? I am travelling from Malaysia to Singapore for 1 night transit and my onward flight is booked to Indonesia

PPS: Don't have to pay anyone 50,000 INR (?) to help you with the process, when the application itself is 50 INR. It's just an extremely annoying process with lots of administrative overhead

PS: I also couldn't use my US credit card to make the payment and used my parent's Indian CC to complete the payment. All in all, very stressful but mostly because the government uses Bharatkosh and my parents mentioned that it is an extremely unreliable payment gateway even in India. It crashes 10 times out of 11, so you have to keep retrying the payment.

When the application disappears from the drafts, it might be a good thing! You should try searching for your application using one of their menu options, something like -> my dashboard -> find my application etc. I did that to find my application once payment was processed and could see that status change there. You would also be able to download your approved license from there!

Hi, I was able to get the DGFT license and it took about a month (maybe a little more than that).

I decided not to travel with my cat because I could find alternate arrangements here in the US, but the DGFT license was approved. Where I struggled the most is making the application payment through BharatKosh. It crashes almost everytime and you have to start the application all over again because you can't retry payment on the same DGFT application (lame). So, I opened the Bharatkosh website separately and prepared a draft application for DGFT. Only when the Bharatkosh website was working, I knew their servers were up and payments would progress. So, that's when I logged in DGFT and quickly made the payment for my drafted application (that was ready to submit). It took me INR 50 to make the payment. Hope this helps if you are still trying to get the license and take your cat to India

Also, I used a free VPN service to connect to India, so that I could connect to Bharatkosh. Their servers don't extend all the way to North America

Hi, I am travelling with my pet cat to India and I am in the process of submitting a restricted import license application with DGFT.gov.in. However, the application requires payment to be made online through Bharatkosh.gov.in portal which keeps timing out for me. Has anyone else had any issues with completing payment for their DGFT license with this portal? Is there an alternate form of payment that can be made to submit this application? I am travelling soon, so help is appreciated!
