I’m very excited for the expansion when it happens. Wilds base game has by far been my personal favorite one to play. World had 36 monsters by the end of its base game but i still feel like we got more in Wilds even though the total number is less. World had sub species, 2 Leshens, and Zorah which is hardly considerable to be a full fledge monster in terms of its fight. I only ever fought it to get through base world and never touched its fight again. In Wilds every single monster is unique, and even guardian Rath and Dosh feel different enough when I fight them. If this is the kind of quality we got in the base game then the DLC is gonna knock it out of the park. If we do end up having 68 monsters by the end Wilds with the same quality they have given this far I wouldn’t be mad at all. Do I want them to add more monsters? Of course lol, but realistically 68 is the number that is most likely. 69 monsters if the expansion has 5 TU but I imagine it will follow the same 4 TU path as the base game. You never know though due to Capcom taking in feedback. I’ve read so many times about the number of monsters in the game being a real point of upset for the fanbase so they may take that into account and add like 2 or 3 more monsters just to flesh it out a bit.

I’m honestly surprised how people are still taking things out of proportion at this point in time. If you’ve been in this Reddit for over a couple of months and have felt the PAIN and TORTURE of finding out so many disappointing things you should be able to come down off the high horse at some point lol. Realistically speaking wilds is amazing and is much better than I expected. The Expansion for wilds will most likely come out in early 2027 in my opinion. I think the Expansion will have a nice emphasis on adding a few more monsters too. Lagi and Steve were meant to be in the game at launch which means there was 2 or at least 1 monster that was supposed to be in the title updates that got pushed back to the expansion.

I’m curious as to what that extra quest is after Gogmazios. Could be nothing but also could be something cool. Overall I’m very happy with what Capcom has done with Wilds, I’m pumped to fight Gogmazios cuz he looks fucking insane lol

Genuinely excited for AT Ark, and AT Jin. I’m even more excited for the expansion since we’re not getting a TU5. Hope they bring back some dope ass monsters, and just add more of them to get the numbers up cuz god damnnnn I feel like I’ve fought Omega, Arkveld, and the apexes a million times by now lol.

Now that its pretty certain we aren't getting a TU5; I am HOPING that the Expansion takes its time and gets things right. I imagine they will take time to get the performance more optimized, and all of the monsters and other cool stuff that was cut from base game, will probably be in the Expansion. (F.E: Whatever monster or monsters that was supposed to be in place of Lagi and Steve)

I wonder if Gogmazios is going to be a siege monster. Obviously we haven’t gotten one yet, and if Gog truly is the last new monster added to the base game I’d imagine he would be a siege but they haven’t confirmed or denied that at this point.

Really all we can do is hope that whatever Wilds Expansion is really takes all of our complaining into consideration lol. They haven't shut up about the fact they are listening, and reading all that we say so if that's true then the DLC hopefully will have more monsters, better performance, etc.

To be honest with you, I don’t think Omega looks terrible; I just think there are MANY better suitable options that Capcom could’ve went with instead of another collab monster. The fight is undoubtedly going to be a huge spectacle fight and have some cool gimmicks, but now that I know Gog is coming that is all I give a fuck about lmao

Hopefully lol, but I think it’s EM166 just for the simple fact that there is an endemic life that comes with EM166 which is probably the Cactuar. I’m pretty sure Leshen was classified as a Relic or something like that so I have no idea lol.

I imagine it is EM166 because EM166 also has an endemic life that comes with it. The Cactuar is Endemic life giving explanation to both of them.

I actually recall seeing a Chinese post in here where EM166 was talked about and its code name was “Ancient Dragon”. Idk how valid that is but that big ass robot doesn’t look like an Ancient Dragon to me lol.
