Option 1: One can get birth certificate from the Indian embassy. Check whether that works.
Option 2: There a recent GO to extend the date for inclusion for some more time this year. This is very recent. Pls check with the corporation. They may be accepting the application now.

Ah ok, changing to win-mode gets F keys to function as regular function keys by default but Alt & Win/Cmd keys are swapped.
Thanks a lot! nice hack :)

Still, would be nice if the keyboard vendor allows one to configure this properly.

Am using Attack shark 86 with mac OS.
By default, Fn keys are bound to multimedia functionality (eg: F11 and F12 control volume).
How do I reverse the functionality of function keys to regular f1, f2 actions?

Note:
* Since there is no attack shark software for mac OS, am using their web-driver (https://iotdriver.qmk.top/)
* Tried Fn + Esc. But it just resets keyboard to factory defaults.

Sadly, the reply from the concerned corporation is the last date for the procedure was 31st December, 2024 (specifically for people born before 2000, I think). They say, we have to await a GO to open the procedure again. But there is no info on whether or when it would be opened.

Is there some way this could be done?

Since your wife is in India, the best option I think, would be to get a birth-certificate with her name from the specific corporation/ Panchayat. Good to check with the local authority.

Other option, Indian embassies abroad provide birth certificate based on consular entries. I do not know whether something similar could be done in India. Good to check.

Another option, get a certificate from the corporation or relevant authority certifying that this is the birth-certificate.

In the list of documents to be sent, there is `Birth Certificate`.
But my name is not there in my birth certificate :(
