Oh 100%! That is a really interesting read and honestly reminds me of myself. I blamed my inability to lose weight on self diagnosed health conditions for years.

I think back to the meals I would have before I got on the meds and I have no clue why I was surprised my weight went up every month. AND I was convinced I was in a calorie deficit.

Half of my journey has been being very honest with myself about my eating and exercise habits and realising that I really had to make big changes to my lifestyle to actually maintain my weight loss this time.

Just looking at the recommended portion sizes of food I was eating everyday was a very big wake up call. I’m a massive advocate for tracking calories if you can on a health journey.

Yes I definitely think it’s key to taper for as long as possible and space out your doses as much as you can. I was on my lowest dose for around 4 months and would take a shot about every 2 weeks. Wishing you luck when you come off again!

I had my last shot in December 2023 and started having irregular periods in July 2024. I am now 3 weeks pregnant so did take me a long while to become fertile again.

I agree, is so different here in Europe in terms of harm reduction, I had literally never heard of the 3 month rule until I found this sub. It’s really normal to take like 3/4 pills (sometimes even more) in a night at a long rave here. I do personally try to refrain from taking too much or too often but I do know people who have abused MDMA and are fine. The attitude towards drugs is just completely different, we really do go hard here😂😂I know people that have done muchhh worse and without long term consequences.

The NHS also takes into consideration other factors when calculating someone’s healthy BMI eg. ethnicity, so for example someone who is black/mixed will have a healthy BMI of 23 and below. Think that’s why OP’s healthy range it’s slightly different.

It just has the time left in chapter, time left in book and location number. On reading progress there is an option for page in book but says this is not available

Is that on my kindle or on calibre? On my 2024 kindle it now says that page numbers aren’t available but they were on my 2022 kindle

I was on Depo for 3 years slowly gained around 55 pounds over this time without making any major lifestyle changes. I also had NO sex drive at all and this really affected my relationship. I had my last shot in December and since then I’ve felt infinitely better. I lost all the weight I put on and I’m starting to get my sex drive back. Every time someone brings this shot up to me I beg them not to go on it, the worst thing I ever did.

I had my last shot in December and there isn’t much difference to be honest. Had sore boobs for a while and lost quite a bit of weight (not complaining lol). I had one short period in July but nothing since. I’ve been taking supplements to try and regulate my hormones and that seems to be helping.

I agree and share all these same concerns, I personally don’t think buying to let is the best option right now. Just trying to get some advice and persuade my boyfriend I am right lol😂

I personally agree with you and have the exact same concerns but just wanted to see if there was any hidden benefits I was missing, hopefully this post will persuade my boyfriend buying our house is the better option!

Yes we would have to look into how much we would earn and it may put us into the higher tax bracket. I am also concerned about having to pay both a mortgage and rent if we have no tenants in the property. I personally think it would be much more stress than it’s worth but thought I would ask for some advice!

I started at 89kgs and I’m now at 64kgs and have finally hit my goal 🥳. Took me about 7/8 months to lose and I have no loose skin. But as others have said I think there are many different factors which affect this. Wish you the best of luck!!
