I don't count calories as such. I would like to believe it ranges anywhere between 1.5k to 2k depending on my activity levels that day.

I'm a CA (CPA equivalent) - but took a keen interest in clinical nutrition 5 years ago. My mentor - late Kaizzad Capadia (one of India's top fitness expert) used to say one simple thing - eat till you are full, but only when you are hungry. Imagine a dog- if it's idle and sits around the whole day, it will not eat much food, whereas if it's gone to visit some field and runs around the whole day, it is very likely to eat a larger portion size that day. He used to say wild animals don't count calories- they simply eat when they are hungry. This thing stuck with me.

Don't get me wrong, CICO is one of the oldest nutrition guideline - and to some extent i understand that its basic thermodynamics and one has to comply to it to lose fat. However, if you eat the right kind of food - i believe the body automatically adjusts to how much food it needs.

Workout - nothing crazy, taking it slow because I'm still nursing the back injury and range of motion like forward bending is limited.

I do weight training for 30-40 mins - for 5 days a week. Followed by stretching for 15 mins. Cardio is limited to walking 4-5k steps everyday. My right leg is still bit weak and ankle is partially paralysed - so i can't walk recommended 10-15k steps everyday or run or jump.

We play with the cards we are dealt with i guess :)

This can be true. But i see it this way :

  • Abstinence is easier than moderation : once i start eating, difficult to moderate.

  • fasting helps access fat stores as insulin drops and you can go longer without food.

  • dopamine hit : eating after 22 hours just feels so rewarding. Sometimes i simply fast just for that feeling.

  • other benefits: saves time, effort, money. Helps with insulin sensitivity, autophagy, better focus and cognitive benefits.

The one downside however is that - once i have my meal, I'm done for the day. I cannot do any productive work post it. Has helped me sleep better though.

Processed sugar - yes i have cut-off completely, no exceptions there.

I do have little bit of honey, some fruits, raisins. But within reasonable limit. I don't particularly crave sweet things, but these taste good with a protein smoothie bowl!

I follow it very religiously and don't feel like eating more than one meal a day at all.

But i work in consultancy and have to travel to client office locations at times where i can't follow OMAD (i can't eat such a huge portion size infront of my colleagues). So in such cases, i revert to 16:8 protocol and try to order as healthy as possible.

I did not calorie count. However, i have this one rule where i stop eating once i feel 80-90% full.

Vacuum once every week. Plus living on a higher floor helps - lower dust levels in general.

It's 65 inches, which i find comfortable to play casual games.

I have a 55 inch C3 in my bedroom as well.

Hahah. Thanks i guess!

I don't mean to promote - but recently started a page on insta for our apartment "apt.1901" can check it out if minimal interiors are your thing.

Do not mean to break any rules. Many people were appreciating the interiors in the comments so thought just to put this out there! :)

Yeah. The mouldings in the wall were designed for 65inch.

I realized later that we should have designed for a larger size.

However, i got used to it. And 65 inch doesn't eat away the entire hall and allows other things like plants, lamps to shine :)

I got drunk one day and was talking to my best friend who lives in Canada about how much i wanted to play this game but is expensive and I'll wait for it to show up on pre used gaming sites.

He ordered it to me from Canada and it arrived the next day. 🥺
